RawDad- My diet changes daily but if you saw my groceries for the week in my previous post you wuold see the ingredients I am working with and I even posted a menu of what we would most like eat. Today I have had about 48 oz of green veggie juice. I have had several apples and I will eat some steamed red potoatoes for dinner w/ coconut oil and salt.

Hi Lori. I admire you for your openness and honesty. You look great in a healthy, fit and glowing way. I am doing whatever is in my power to get healthier and am the tortoise instead (not the hare) when it comes to progress. I agree with you on nakedness. I think it's a truth and wearing layers and layers of clothes hides that truth.

I wish I could go on and on about my weight issues but the point is I'm doing my best to do something about it. I'm so blessed to know living foods since so many don't know it. You are inspiring because you are so healthy, glowing and beautiful. I wish you the best

@ Beki- Thank you! I too am like the tortoise. I started this journey in January and it is now Deccember and I am only 9 lbs down. However, I am eating better and better as I go. Other ailments are clearing up too! It's not all about the weight.

@ Joshua- I am off to check out your vids now~

You truly do inspire to act, Lori, and I've been liking the videos you've been posting up. I hope one day I get to the point of being a vegan, but I have the challenge of living with someone who is almost entirely "meat and potatoes." Any suggestions on how to begin the transition to a healthier diet?

You go, hot mamma!!! Woohoo!!! :-)

After debating for the longest time, I'm finally going raw because ever since I had my son a year ago, I have not been able to lose the final 25 lbs. even after eating all organic! So mom got me the Vita-Mix and a Cuisinart food processor. I'm buying myself a Breville juicer this week and starting to juice. What book do you recommend on that? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. :-)

@ Zoe- Congrats on your raw journey.... It has changed my life. Now that I know this way of eating I can't imagine ever abandoning it! I am a youtube nut so I tend to get inspiration from videos. I just grab whatever greens I have and something to sweeten it up. Today is carrot tops, beet tops, romaine, spinach, apple, celery and ginger.

Here are a few links of green juice recipes:

Thanks Lori! Today I weighed myself in and lost 10 lbs in the last month. Can you believe it? For the last year I couldn't lose 1 pound and look at me now! I'm thrilled to realize how quick of an impact going raw has had on me already.

I gotta give you a lot of credit for inspiring me because I've been following you for a while and always wanted to try raw foods. Keep doing what you are doing because it's surely making a difference in some of our lives. :-)

WOW! Now I can see why I was led to connect with you Lori. I, too, am on a quest to have the best, strongest, HEALTHIEST body I possibly can at 52 - so I can use all the encouragement I can get after a few recent setbacks that have delayed my progress just a bit. Thank you for your transparency and sincerity. I'm off to catch up with more of your posts now ... maybe I should have started at the beginning instead of with the most recent.

Thanks Lori,

great video, great content.

You are looking really fantastic.
From the view point of a man with two good functioning eyes your body is great!
But what is really inspiring is to see your beautiful face and eyes: Full of passion and energy.
Every raw food sceptic should watch your videos. I´m sure your work will inspire a lot of people and will have a great impact.

Hi Lori,

Thanks for sharing your journey. You are very inspiring! I've been raw for about 3 years now and 80-10-10 since June. I feel better and better all the time but I'm still holding on to some weight! Sometimes it frustrates me because I eat NO fat and all raw all the time but I've just not been exercising. I've gotta remember that diet is only part of the equation-we've gotta move! Today I got a pass to the gym and went for the first time, it felt so good! I'm going to keep at it too sister! Thanks for the inspiration. Love and peace to you :) <3
